Associate Scientist

Associate Scientist at Pelago Bioscience     We are looking for an associate scientist with experience in a broad range of bioscience disciplines and their application to drug discovery. The role is offered as permanent positions (after a 6-month trial period) with a competitive salary and benefits programme.   About the role:    Being an Associate Scientist in R&D at Pelago means that you will have the following responsibilities:    ·        Plan, execute, analyze and report project work ·        Working with SOPs and reporting with ELN ·        Support the R&D Portfolio working across multiple projects ·        Operate liquid handling robotics ·        Develop processes and assist in conversion to SOPs ·        Ensure efficient project execution and support colleagues with   efficient lab operations ·        Present and utilize scientific literature     Your background:    An Associate Scientist role could suit a recent graduate in Biochemistry/Biology fields at the MSc level or someone with commensurate laboratory experience. Experience in biochemical assays and / or knowledge in proteomic sample preparation is desirable but full training will be supplied for all equipment. As a person, you work well independently and as part of a dynamic team. You can multitask and work effectively on several projects simultaneously. You are responsible and decisive as well as highly organized and have excellent time-management skills.
